Day : 1 Arrival
Arrival at Srinagar Airport you will be transferred to Hotel. Afternoon leave for half day tour to famous Mughal Gardens. Nishat Garden:Nishat Bagh is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close to Srinagar in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. The largest in size is the Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake. ‘Nishat Bagh’ is Urdu, which means "Garden of Joy," "Garden of Gladness" and "Garden of Delight. Located on the bank of the Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountains as its backdrop, Nishat Bagh is a garden with views of the lake beneath the Pir Panjal mountain range. The Bagh was designed and built in 1633 by Asif Khan, elder brother of Nur Jehan. Shalimar Garden: Shalimar Garden known as 'Garden of love' built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden in Srinagar, linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake, on its right bank located on the outskirts of Srinagar. Its other names are Shalimar Garden, Shalimar Bagh, Farah Baksh and Faiz Baksh, and the other famous shore line garden in the vicinity is Nishat Bagh. The Bagh is considered the high point of Mughal horticulture. It is now a public park. This time it's also called as crown of Srinagar. Chashme Shahi: The garden was constructed around the spring by the Mughal Governor Ali Mardan Khan in 1632. It was commissioned by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his eldest son, Dara Sikoh. The garden is located in the Zabarwan Range, near Raj Bhawan (Governor‘s house) overlooking Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. In the east of Chashma Shahi the Pari Mahal (Fairy Palace) lies where Dara Sikoh used to learn astrology and where he was later killed by his brother Aurengzeb. The garden is 108 m long and 38 m wide and is spread over one acre of land. It is the smallest garden among the three Mughal gardens of Srinagar; the Shalimar garden is the largest and the Nishat garden is the second largest. All the three gardens were built at the right bank of the Dal Lake, with Zabarwan mountains (Zabarwan Range) at the backdrop. Later Afternoon enjoy relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake for 01 Hrs. Shikara Ride: The 'Shikara' or wooden boat rides are especially well-known and popular among tourists. They are available around the edges of the lakes. These boats are the best way to admire the beauty of the lake and its surroundings. The people along the lake grown all kinds of colorful vegetables and you can see them while traveling on the Shikara. There are one and two hour rides for Shikara. Day : 2 Genting tour
After breakfast you will leave for full day excursion to Sonamarg. Sonamarg (2740 mts) also known as 'The Meadow of Gold' or "The Gateway of Ladakh” Sonamarg is 84 Kms from Srinagar and is surrounded by colorful mountains and thick Pine forests. Thajwas Glacier is 3 Kms in the south of Sonamarg. Slopes and meadows are sparkled with the loveliest of alpine flowers, while the rich forests of fir, sycamore and birch at their lush green beauty to the scene. Along with the Pahalgam, Sonamarg is an excellent takeoff point for treks into the mountains and in itself is an ideal camping ground where glaciers pour down from the Himalayas. Sonamarg is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus via Baltal Valley. Overnight stay in Hotel in Srinagar.
Day : 3 Sight Seeing
After breakfast you will leave for full day excursion Pahalgam. Pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as 'The valley of Shepherds or Trekker's Paradise. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. On the way visit Awantipura ruins, Saffron fields One of the most beautiful places on earth, the town of Pahalgam offers breath-taking views. One can just enjoy the town of Pahalgam trek to some of the most beautiful places on earth. One can trek to Kolohoi Glacier or to Sonamarg. Pahalgam is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus. In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows (Own Cost). Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar
Day : 4 Sight Seeing
After breakfast you will leave for full day excursion to leave for Gulmarg. Gulmarg (8700 ft i.e. 2652 mts), known as 'Meadow of flowers. Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. It is one of the India's premier Hill resorts. Gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty - It also turns into India's premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola Cable Car offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter.
